haha aaah sorry. it was late/early in the morning and I interpreted that wrong by thinking you were getting socks and shoes lol. I'm sure you'll do great in the beast socks. There's a few good lifters where I train who dead in the socks too!

done these outside again as weather was great, and still havent picked up my extra oly bar so used the axel, went well i think

nasty looking that arm , i often get scrapes on my shins that i dont remember doing but never bruising like that on my forearms so far ....

i cant f**king work it out, possibly just friction and bumps from my clothes doing deads!? f**k knows, and my new deads socks worked a treat protecting my shins!

cheers buddy, felt good going doing nearly 100k for 8 reps twice, think thats a pb, never done more than 3x3 for reps at 100k in my mini effort so far! Grin

i think getting to "ground" my feet/heal etc and not having to control the lowering with the rubber mats is helping in a massive way

Oh aye you're coming along well. I find it horrible having to lower the bar slowly. I'm glad that you don't have to lower it anymore too lol.

do deads normally go up in weight when you use an oly bar instead of an olympic bar? im liking the axel bar alot tbh, but soon enough will have another 7ft oly for the garden so will be using that Grin

You're doing well with the axle. I'd keep at it and I'm more than sure you'll end up with monster grip strength as a result!

yeah its certainly helping with gripwork, and progressing i feel, i'll just keep with it for now and maybe i'll just see how it compares to the oly bar when doing some 1rm stuff Grin

I personally feel that you'll pull a few kgs more on the oly bar. Deadlift PBs coming up soon.

i hope so buddy, obviously with hypertrophy training i'm not too worried about pb's, but i'm still going to throw some pb efforts in to keep the mind happy! Grin

good job, u seem a pretty quick dead'er almost lost ur footing.. as i have done a few times lol, axle deading will get hard on ur grip whilst locking out when out ur up top end lol

Lol fair enough, I think I'll keep at the axel, then once I'm struggling at a weight I'll switch to the oly bar, get used to the weight the switch it up again accordingly Happy
