Making the transition from Strongman to Powerlifter

Goals:
Lose weight (bodyfat)
Increase SBD
Compete in 140kg GPC and eventually 125kg

Simple as.

Shoulder/Tricep stretching/hypertrophy work.

Was supposed to be a rest day but I'm getting sick of sitting in a house full of boxes waiting to move so gym it was.

Many light sets of strict press, pressdowns and other assistance work. Got a nice pump on.

Back assistance work.

Pendlay Rows to 120kg
DB Rows to 55kg
Pulldowns and a bit of bicep work.

New SBD cycle starts tomorrow

190 x 3 for 5 Sets - Felt s**te, seem to have completely lost my groove in the space of a week, don't think my s**t calf is helping too much.

Bench 5x7@70%

60 x 5
100 x 3
107.5 x 7 for 5 sets - Felt so weak today! Haven't benched consistently for weeks and weeks though so given a week or two should be back on my game.

Deadlift 3x3@80%

100 x 3
180 x 2
252.5 x 3 for 3 sets

Bench 5x5@75%

60 x 5
115 x 5 for 5 sets

Tried out the 'slingshot' branded compression cuff things today. They provide a good amount of compression over a concentrated area so not enough to provide any form of assistance. I wore my SBD sleeves over the top for warmth and the combination was excellent, no pain although the compression was enough to give me tingly fingers after a while. Should not be left on for a significant period of time.

Never used boards before but want to start incorporating them, hence the token attempt to see how it felt.
