so i have decided to start a journal because i think it will help me achive the goals i want i am currently 19 years old wieghing around 98kg i have been training for strength for almost a year now and have never followed a set program and lifted just for fun

recently i enterd my first strongman comp and now have the competative bug so here is my goal to achive a 600kg total before my 20th birthdy following a set powerlifting routine and push press 130kg by the same time also the goal is to do this at a lighter bodywieght

my lifts at the momment are
232.5 deadlift
200 sqaut
140 bench
125 push press

this will mean adding 10 kgs onto all my lifts and 5kg onto my push press by the 22 of november ambitious i know but you can never aim too high

alrite mate il be there a few nites next week going lite then im off on hols for a week then when i get back thats when i hit it hard for 8 weeks solid so pop over whenever u want guys

you will piss that mate 5kg on each lift you ever benched with chains? my bench went up 10kg when i used chains in my last cycle

No mate never used them. Although repping with 110 at the moment so 125/130 should be doable

not on my proper program yet but did a light session tnite just to stop me goin crazy away from the gym

well this is it the fun begins on monday with my first heavy session in almost a month holidays over and gunna get my head down for winter training so i began my diet yesterday so i could have three solid days before i got back training diet so far is

6.00 meal 1- porridge bananna peanut butter apple protien shake bcaa cranberry juice 2 pints water

9.00 meal 2- 2 tins mackrel 3 slices whole grain toast olive oil spread piece of fruit

12.00 meal 3-1 chicken breast fillet 1 meadiem sweet potato mashed with garlic and roasted veggis red onions carrots etc.

3.00 meal4 protien shake+ bcaa piace of fruit

5.00 meal 5 pre workout shake nitric oxide based drink beta alanine crepure bcaa and 2 bannanas

meal 6- post workout maltidextos carbs protien crepure bcaa pomigranit juice

meal 7- meat sweet potato lots of veggies

before bed protien shake and zma


peoples opinions? i imagine people will think im insane for the amount of supps but most of em i eaither get cheap or free

anyone got any tips for recipes because breakfast is already getttin abit boring

first nite back tonite so first time sqauting wide powerlifting style i normaly sqaut close this has got me to 200 and andy b told me yesterday i need to start going wide to get all the leg muscles working to handle heavier wieghts so i started today sesh went as follows

bench session tnite keeping simple tonite only had 1 spotter so didnt do any board work and havnt got my bands yet so heres how it went abit diappointed with it tba so had to make adjustments as i went having abit of an off day maybe

all reps touch and go no chest bounce and no pause

bench nite think next week may have to drop back on my wights and start from scratch becasue 3 plates a side paused feels a long way off since last time i did it
