How much variation in body fat do you see on the Tanita scales throughout the day?

Sounds too little for an 18 stone lad but that's why I say track a full 10 days, then average that. You'll get a much more accurate number to work with overall.

I've done this in the past but have always kept it clean. I'm going to try it again after my holiday next week with:

235g protein
255g carbs
60g fat
2550 cals

Chocolate, crisps and ice cream planned every day! Grin

60g of fat?

That's only lunch, what about the rest of the day?

I said:Ok mate. I guess I'll find out the hard way then won't I because I'm sticking to this for as long as I possibly can. Hopefully indefinitely. (I'm currently eating some Dark Chcolate as I write, btw). If you and Greg are on the money I won't have significantly lower Bodyfat in 10 weeks time. If you are wrong and I am right then I will.

In the interests of openness and for the benefit of this experiment, here are the stats taken from my Tanita Scales on Day 1. I'll video 'Weigh in 10' for comparison.

'Weigh in 1'
9th May - 10:00am

Weight: 100.5kg
Bodyfat: 19.8%
Lean Mass: 76.6kg
Bone Mass: 3.9kg
Hydration: 60.7%
Visceral Fat: 8.0Litres
Physique Rating: 6
Metabolic Age: 30

We will see how truly f**ked up and useless the flexible dieting approach is soon enough. Stay tuned. Wink

Update.
This is going exceptionally well. No thoughts at all of falling off or failing. I'm still having chocolate everyday and have even started eating jelly tots everyday too. Dem carb Gainz.
Weigh in 4 is coming up on Saturday and I'm anticipating being as much as 11lb lighter than Weigh in 1.

Burgen Soya and Linseed bread. Makes a sandwich quality! 7g of protein per slice.

I generally have that every day when dieting, or at least I used to...

I would rather get my cals from carbs (or at least I think I would).
