Again all reset each rep felt good weight was still easy real work starts next week feeling confident for this comp prep.

I cant count. My coach told me to do 150 3x3.

Was meant to go 150 3x3.... turns out I cant count and misloaded
Put 160 on the bar and got 2 reps which is a PB even if accidently...

Dropped to 150 but was f**ked did 2x2 at this weight.

Thanks mate. Body is feeling it this week. Long hours at work arent helping much!

The comp is in Eastbourne mate unsure on venue tho.

Deadlift.

Gym was over 30° and not a single fan going so this was a real tough session

Worked up to 240 for 5x2 speed was good on all. But woke with the tighest back you could ever imagine.

Finished off with some pulldowns and romanian deadlifts(?) Tbink thats what they are anyway....

Bench on monday.
145 for 5x2 all paused. This was hard work.
Physio tuesday. Hurt like a cowdry style arse invasion.

Deadlift today (thursday)
Worked up to:
240x1
250x5x1
Failed the 6th single. Im slow off the floor and rapid from mid shin up... typical trait of an equipped lifter i suppose.

At this stage, 4 weeks out feeling good still, slightly apprehensive that i wont come in strong enough but im training my arse off and putting in hard work.

We will see if its paid off.

Given the week ive had this is a huge achievement for me.
A fellow powerlifter was spotting me and called the press command on the 155's he was doing a 5 second pause count for me.
My press from my chest has always been s**t as a result of lifting equipped but im please to say these moved smooth and easy. Felt no different to the 130kg.

All in all a good end to an otherwise s**tty few days.

Not much more tosay. The weights before it flew up crazy fast. 270 felt nice but had to work for the second one.

Standard warm up.

160x1(horrendous back pump but easy)
160x1( even worse pump and not so easy)

Hit tris after. Starting to feel strong now. One more bench sesh before comp. All going pretty well.

This week i warmed up to a 1rm of
1xPneumonia.

I feel this may effect my performance.

Next couple of days ill hit my openers in the gym and try to sleep this whole thing off in time for the comp.

Probably speed deficit stuff, but I'd say send Tom Martin a PM.
