I squatted with it - that was the first time i tried equipment! Has anyone had a crack in the Metal DL suit? Going to get back in the gym today and nail some deadlifts and more push presses, and plenty of faggot stuff. | ||

Dirty little devil Member 138, 356 posts | Cool mate, that was one tight deadlift suit, if you still have it, feel free to keep it safe for me until I'm ready to use it, or give it to someone who is scrawny enough to fit it! On a side note, quite happy with my lifting today, got some nice chalk too for 1.99- bonus! 175x2 next week, all the way up to 210x2 within a few months. May add in the Deads off plates, was a bit shot today from squatting yesterday. | ||

I think it takes a while to get back into the grove of deadifting. I know after pulling in a suit for so long I'm finding it hard to get my legs firing properly when pulling raw. | ||

Btw, I think Fronts are a real good strongman lift. Great for improving leg drive on deads, squats, push presses, jerks etc. A lot of bang for your buck. | ||

Upper Day 1 Powerclean Front Squat Close Grips or Dips Some arm work Upper Day 2 - Not sure about this, I think a BP focused day may be more productive. Push Press Benches, vary grip Some rows and Trap work Arms One goal for my training over the next year at least, is to spend more time on 'extra' work, just for vanity, but I want decent looking arms.. Deadlifts and Squats will take care of traps and back, and Overhead work is good for the upper body girdle. Just want some reasonable arm size too... think Joni may be the one to speak about bicep specialization routines from my preliminary investigation | ||
