I would have thought 710k would put you as a prime contender to win the British!Strong stuff!

The squat was high, your arse was up on the bench and you dropped the deadlift. Hope it all goes better for you on the day.

Squat rack hog Member 82, 380 posts SQ 217.5, BP 145, DL 260622.5 kgs @ 92kgs UnEq | I filmed the squat vid and I can confidently say the depth was good. You can see that if you slow it down. I wasn't there to see the bench but I know the deadlift was dropped on purpose, not because of grip problems etc

You can never be sure on You Tube stuff, but the squat seemed high and the arse seemed to come up - unless the front hip area is disconnected from the rear hip area. There's the basis of a song there, I reckon...

massive arse Member 330, 30 posts SQ 260, BP 160, DL 300720.0 kgs @ 110kgs UnEq | Bench was the only one i thought was borderline. Neva been a single problem with squat depth, i mean i squatted 240kg at a meet only 10 weeks ago that got 3 green lights! As for deadlift, wow u guys are jealous!!

If I were anything I would be envious, but that's another issue. Fact is you are not allowed to let go of the bar until it is on the floor, and if you do so on the day they will fail you. Doesn't matter why you drop it. Do it on the day and see how the refs laugh as they hit the red buttons. Do your "cycles" always affect your moods like this

just smoked Ed and Neil - EAT MY GOAL Member 120, 1583 posts | you can't beat a bit of banter! I am in no position to judge any of the lifts in terms of red/white/any other colour lights, however, I did find the squat particularly impressive. Looked like a warm up really. What were you training for before powerlifting?

Member 143, 237 posts SQ 340, BP 245, DL 310895.0 kgs @ 120kgs Eq | Just to pitch in my two penneth as a ref, even with the camera angle it you watch the hip crease (which is the easy way to check depth on any size lifter from any angle) you will note the it doesn't break the plane of the top of the knee. So I'd agree it's high, but only a smidgen. Once contest day comes round I'm pretty sure that extra inch will be there easy, especially when you put some damned weight on the bar!! As for the deadlift - gotta love a strong pull, but us gits with the red lights will fail you if you drop the bar. Very strong training lifts - good luck in the contest.
