Sports an extremely muscular arse. Member 38, 6253 posts | Post Edited: 01.01.2013 @ 20:44 PM by Fazc I think the first step would be to accept that you might have to do some things you don't like to reach your goals. You've had a few good suggestions but there's been a lot of 'i dont like that, i havent time for that' type of talk going on Life is about trade-offs. If you think the time invested in gaining weight is worthwhile, you'll do it. If not, accept it and move on. From the sounds of your first post you do like the idea of gaining some weight, but then it's a matter of finding time if it's that important to you.

Unfortunatly I also have to do quite a bit of cardio so I find gaining weight quite hard. I was thinking of using greek yogurt as a sub for say cottage cheese? Would this work?

Yeah for sure that'll work, it'll be smoother too. Maybe bang some honey in there too If you are doing a lot of cardio and still want to gain weight, then I wouldn't worry about some regular junk food. Tastes good and as long as the rest of your diet is sound it'll put the weight on!

Member 735, 1193 posts SQ 220, BP 135, DL 235590.0 kgs @ 80kgs UnEq | Make a plan and then write a to do list with all the tasks as required each day to complete the plan Tick of each task on the to do list as you do it – at the end of the day you can review your to do list and it’s a create feedback mechanism to show how well you are doing in all the little things which take you a step closer to your goals – you soon see trends as well like certain days where you miss off a huge amount of things due to whatever has occurred that day and you can see which days need greater planning etc. to actually help you achieve the days required tasks. I did this and soon noticed how inconsistent I was with recovery methods on certain days or undereating on a weekend etc

Member 4188, 2081 posts SQ 205, BP 135, DL 250590.0 kgs @ 94.5kgs UnEq | If your after quick cheap and easy farmfoods do 2 one litre bottles of milkshake for £1.50 in three flavours, they also do rustlers microwave burgers 2 for £2 ready in 80 secs, plus as an added bonus they do black sun 500ml energy drinks three for a £1 and a box of nutrigrain bars for a £1. Not healthy options but cheap way to get loads of calories.

Ian I'll see if there's a farm foods near me and take a look at what they have in. From a training point of view would it be best to stay with a more power lifting style routine or look at BB type stuff aswell?
