Competition Information

The competition is being held on Saturday 8th May 2010 at:

Stanley Park, West Park Drive, Blackpool, FY3 9HU

It will be an open weight class with 5 events of which I am still awaiting confirmation on a couple of things so are subject to change.

Event 1 – Max Axle Deadlift
3 Attempts – Starting weight 250kg
Straps & Suits Allowed

Event 2 – Log Clean & Press
125kg Log
Max Reps in 90 Seconds

Event 3 – Medley
380kg Yoke – 20m
140kg Farmers Walk – 20m

Event 4 – Tyre Flip
Max flips of 400kg tyre in 90 seconds

Event 5 – Stones
Stones for max reps in 90 seconds
2 weight choices
Stone weights and height TBC

Entry fee will be £15 which will include a competition t-shirt and entry bag.

There will be 15 competitors – after that people will be placed on a reserve list.

Top 3 will receive a trophy and prizes which are TBC.

Competition sponsors so far include Atlas Stones, Strength Shop & Olympic Sports Gym.
