July 27th U105kg Englands Strongman Qualifier
Weight - 83.3KG
1) Deadlift 220kg reps in 75 seconds ( no straps allowed )
Nailed 8 reps, let myself down by taking my time and should of done 2 more
2) Viking Press 120kg reps in 75 seconds
Nailed 5 reps, well chuffed with this event as overhead iam piss poor
3) 110kg stone onto 48" platform 75 seconds ( no tacky allowed )
Nailed 7 reps, slipped up on an 8th attempt, but definately if i hadnt gone 2nd i would have had more fire in me to do more! Just couldn't get motivated!
4) Ford Transit Van pull up a hill 25 metres ( harness only )
Got 22.38 meters, really pissed off on this event cause my right trainer came loose after the 20m mark, and my foot ended up coming out!!!!! Definately would of finished it!
Final position was 10th
Summary
Event 1 - should of done two more reps
Event 2 - well happy couldnt of done any better
Event 3 - should of speeded up and done a couple more loads
Event 4 - what can i say... superglue my footwear on in future!!!!
Congrats to JT the deserved winner, and dominated the comp in my opinion!
Good luck to JT and JC in the Finals!

Top effort Ste, now stop telling everyone how small you are and nail some weightgain!! Looks like you could do some real damage with 10-15kgs of added ballast....
