Wider issue with neglect regarding male specific problems in the UK. women are prescribed HRT on basis of symptoms alone, whereas men have to jump through hoops with repeated testing of test levels that must be consistently low by NHS definition of low (as in properly hypogonadal). stupid as so many other issues from mental health to insulin resistance that are improved with healthy test levels. | |||

Eventually I checked the onboard gauge and noticed the insane readings and deflated them at a garage (the tyre pressure warning only comes on if too low, the manufacturer clearly don't expect anyone to be so stupid to try inflating a tyre rated at 35psi to 70+ psi) the moral: don't get your tyres changed at ATS Morley unless you're into 'drifting'. | |||

I booked in and had a bloodtest just before Christmas. It was my 3rd blood test of the year. The results eventually came back with my test at 9, which is still just above the NHS treatment range. I called and emailed to try and speed up a follow up phone call with the Endo to see what her thoughts are of the results. When she muttered the line that my test still was not classed as low, my heart sank. BUT, she said due to my long list of issues, she was going to start me on a 3 month trial of TRT gel. I was over the moon! Yesterday I finally picked up the gel and I started today. Let's see what happens now! Good news.
