Anyway elbows are feeling fresh to death anyone got a solid twice a week bench programme to follow over the next five weeks to get past 140? just been building volume at about 75/85%..

It can be done look at Aaron benching 230 @ 100! I find my bench press a killer to make any progress on ie training with high frequency and volume then peaking then potential injury etc. Some Guys on juice hardly even train but throw around heavy Bench like it's nothing, gear seems to really affect bench press more so than squats and deadlifts

Had the pleasure of meeting him at OBS in glasgow this year where he spent a full evening, from six to almost midnight explaining everything from programming to technique work with three young weightlifters who all hit PBs that evening I think. Brilliant guy and very modest.

Yep exactly same. I find sets of five brings it on then need to take time off.

Thank you for the advice re tendinitis just had a week off from benching and first session back felt good think the squatting might be the problem..

Thinking not on squat days. Any suggestions looking to build up over next 7 weeks to a PB?

Bench press. Looking back over my training joirnal. Mine goes up and then tendinitis happens then a week off then repeat this cycle which results in piss gains. Anyone got a decent six week cycle? Also is bench press one word or two?
