Snatch

Loads of technique work with just the bar first

Clean and jerk

Just a technical session working on the first pull in the snatch today and the connection, felt ok bit more experimentation to be done though.

Push press

Log press (last rep of each set was jerked)

65kg x 3,2 - dropped the log after first rep recovered it just and could only get the 2nd press out.

Very good session happy with the push press, got really bad cramp in my lower traps when doing log so stopped early. Got a new technique on cleans which is more comfortable and easier to get under the bar.

Squats

Little brother was doin them, went up to 55kg and loads of sets on lower weights

Started to do some shoulder press but got a pain in both shoulders Im not sure wether it's a bad pain but it must be to do with my previous session. Pissed off with the deads, technique wasn't there on all reps which I'm more pissed off about rather than missed rep on the last set.

Better session today, real pleased with the progress being made. Got new technique on my push press which should show in weeks to come whether it works or not. My left glute has been giving me a bit of trouble recently though, it's not constant just starts hurting at random times.

Very pleased With the PB, pretty sure I had another 5 maybe 10 kg in me but just wanted to get out the gym it was so bad, the owner would not leave us alone and watched everything we did so we did things to his rules. Won't be going there in a long time.

Real good session today really enjoyed it, got a new axel as well so done the squats, but my legs were fried from the deads so didn't go heavy at all. New technique on the log jerk, Makes life a lot easier. And the squats were nice and easy, gonna go for a squat PB on Saturday aiming for 130!

Squats were ok, last set was the best of the three, log press is really getting along now, and the dumbbell will come soon, very close to lock out maybe just not enough strength to hold it up. Overall very pleased with the progression being made.
