Had a training session before going to the gym did a mile in 5:50 and did some sprints after that. Front squat 65kg x 5 65kg x 5 65kg x 5 Behind the neck jerks 52kg x 3 52kg x 3 52kg x 3 52kg x 3 52kg x 3 They weren't the best today, first time I have done jerks in a while. Struggled to lock out on occasion. Rear deltoid 35kg x 10 Did one set of these and my bicep was in pain so I finished there | |||

No they were continuous, my forearms were fried after the deads so I just sped through them. Bench 70kg x 5 70kg x 5 70kg x 5 My left bicep was in agony doing these, that's why I didn't complete the final 2 sets. Its the worst when I begin the upward phase of the push. Don't know what's wrong. Been away from Sugden for a long time and a lot has happened in that time. I'm currently studying in America on a soccer scholarship (Football to the civilised world). Wanted to start up my log again so I have a record of what I'm doing and to look back on. For the last 3 months in America I have done bodybuilding type training, using machines and very little free weights in that time. Snatch 5-10 min shoulder warm up Bar x 2,2 30kg x 1 40kg x 1 45kg x f,1 50kg x f,f,f,1 f**k YEAH!!! 55kg x f,1 57.5kg x f Clean and jerk Warm up with 40kg 60kg x 1,1 70kg x 1 80kg x 1 90kg x f (failed the jerk but is a PB clean) Front squats 60kg x 3 80kg x 3 90kg x 3 Really good session today so happy with the snatch, the 90kg jerk is there having some trouble with my shoulders at the moment just need to warm them up properly and keep stretching them I think. But on the other hand that's my first total of 135@ 77.5 kg BW very happy. | |||

Main focus at the moment is oly lifting so with the snatch working on dropping into the hole easier, that is a joint PB so I'm very happy with it |
