You smoked that 265 triple last night. I think you went slightly out of the groove on rep 1 because the second rep looked almost like an empty bar.
300 will go in 2 weeks mate.

Very strong narrow grip benching last night, that triple you did looked so easy!
Oh and the deadlift wasn't shabby either.
More to be had on everything now. Looking the stronger than I've ever seen you before.

It's great to compete at anything regardless of attainment. I know loads of folk who say there great at this and great at that and put others down but haven't done s**t!! Probably scared stiff of not winnning!
Just to get up and do it in front of an audience is an acheivement in itself.
You're the pressing machine Neil!
I'm hoping if I try harder I might get some half decent numbers though.

Thanks very much everybody. I'm definately in a better place injury wise than I was a few weeks back.
Not really sure if my back will ever be able to repair enough to get anywhere in strongman or powerlifting now but I'm not giving up so easy.
Even If I can just attain some respectable gym numbers I'll be be happy.
My weak lifts ie any type of pressing have always been hard for me to improve but touch wood I haven't had any significant injury probs in the upper body so I can put more into them especially while I'm not squatting and deadlifting that heavy.

Top deadlifting! Crazy how strongman has moved on in the last few years.
I remember watching a Super series comp held in Sweden on Eurosport maybe 6 years ago and Big Z won the deadlift for max with 360.

Head up Millsy. I think it's common to have bad sessions when training alone even when we are on a roll.

Squats were ok, almost painless on my back. Deadlifts easy enough but hurt on the top end sets which does frustrate me a bit!
