went to tbe gym today didnt really have a plan apart from not f**king my finger up more and not doing anything to serious as I am going up to see mr lawson and shaw on sunday

then loads of other fluff. high light of that was hammer curling 40's not massive weight for some monsters but for a guy that struggled for years on end with bicep tendonitis its like a mile stone has been reached ( obviously I am not gonna claim I used text book form )

well didnt really graft lots tried few things out and talked alot. feel like crap now

clean and strict press on normal bar
90x a few
f@110 lost line but not really fussed as doms had started to kick in after doing fridays session

axle 1 clean and press at 120 should have done more but trying to land press done slipped down my front and couldnt be arsed

comp dumbell
cleaned it wasnt sure on pressing as didnt want to drop it as it had just been painted
had another crack at it one solid press few mins later a dodgey one

northern cross
4 fails at pick up
then got it

arm over arm approximately 20 meters big chains x 2 lots

120 stone over comp height yoke x 2
160 x1
160 x fail slipped outta my grip when attempting load

was feeling gash at this point and quite spaced so called it a day

today had to train later than I wanted. when I did finally get to train had my daughter out in garden stressing me out while I trained

overhead medley

bar 110 log 112 axle 121 db 80 failed dumbell
bar 110 log 122 axle failed clean
bar 110 log 122 did the bar and failed the log (separate sets over about 20 mins) must have been 4 if not 5 times just kept going at and was getting ever more stressed the more times I failed the log.

took ages to start thinking rationally again. kept thinking I should piss a 122 log and just wouldnt stop. yhis was gonna be my last overhead training before comp but cant go into comp having done this s**t less than 2 weeks out

had loads of assistance and fluff planned but figured to aid recovery so I can have a good overhead session I might as well just stop there

4inch deficit deadlift (not done these in a while and suspect loss of flexibilty threw lazyness as my hip hasnt hurt like it used to so I havent really done much stretching)

Know the feeling of having kids out when u train mate

Do u use tacky for the stones or go tacky less?

some of these f**kers that train in a gym have no idea of our pain jamie

I go tackless in the garden mate I dont have anywhere to load them on to and soon as they get mud or grass on or wet tacky wont help then as u well know ur spending precious training time getting that s**t off.

plus when I used to get to comps it was always my ability to hold the stone that let me down threw not using tacky I have built this up.
