I'd let a man make love to my arse for £1,000,000.....

Oh a million? I'd let him do a poo on the floor spunk on it then force it down my throat with his cock!

For a grand though it'd just be a swift bum.

I'll take it like a man. Half up front, half afterward?

Yes mate, the NHS pension scheme was a fantastic one. It's now just a good one. The general public and the government seem to begrudge doctors who've put the service in a decent pension. The lack of public sympathy was evident when NHS pensions were slashed recently. Jo blogs basically seems to think that doctors are highly paid priveleged individuals. Little do they know that after 5 (or 6 if you study at Oxford or Cambridge) years of study you start on less 25k a year with NO fringe benefits and that as a pretty senior registrar you're only on a very modest wage. Consultants start on 70k these days. Mates and family members are always very surprised when they learn how little I earn for the responsibility I have.
Yes, there are better pension schemes out there. You have to do your research though and know what you're doing cause there are plenty of sharks out there too. I've stuck with the NHS pension as I've been paying into it since 2004. It's a good one don't get me wrong but it's no longer a great one.

I just read you could make a million pounds in a few years in your previous post

Then you don't get paid enough... Does conflict some what and to be able to be in a position whereby you can later on earning millions has got to be an excellent long term motivator... Especially doing a job you love

Only if you do shedloads of private work mate in addition to your NHS job. Drs who earn that much essentially have 2 jobs. It's a lifestyle (and ethical) choice.

As you say, it's a job I love. I, for one, believe in equal healthcare for all and find the concept of private medicine difficult to get my head round.

Don't get me wrong, drs who earn those sums work more or less every god given hour and more than deserve it. What they sacrifice is family, friends and a life.

Doctors on the whole do pretty well financially especially when you work out that there are over 200,000 of them in the UK to pay. I don't think there are any junior doctors who will earn less than £26k in their pre-reg year after banding (should they earn more?). registrars will earn up to around £90k again depending on specialty and banding. consultants start on £74k but with on call allowance (say 6%) then its much closer to £80k) and that rises pretty quickly to around £85k + on call allowance.

Pension wise, in order to receive a pension of 60% of their salary (say £80-100k of pensionable pay after inflation) they would need a pot of around £1.5 - £2m which is not a bad amount.

I know a few doctors, mostly eye specialists and plastics guys who have earned a few quid but on the whole most would be looking at around £200k a year with private work (cardiology etc).

there are only a few specialties that are so overly protected or have no on-call that only earn the basic (genetics etc).

all very boring, give me your pension pot and you can jizz up my arse

I'd like to say yes, but I am not man enough to handle it. It would ruin us. Do I still get to keep the million, or is part of the deal that I have to stay with her and constantly be reminded the she was with someone else while we were together? I couldn't sell her like that, as much as I would want to be able to.

HOWEVER....JT's offer... let's just say there's not a lot I wouldn't do/have done to me for that kind of money....
