Watfords Strongest Manwill be held at:
Sugarmans
Greycaine House
21 Greycaine Rd,
Watford, WD24 7GP
on SATURDAY 6th October Starting at 10am
entrance £15.00 per competitor
Please note all under 105 competitors need to weigh in before 9.30 at the gym
#New Spartan Gym, Sandown Rd wd24 7xa# there will be people at the gym from 7am
the comp is just round the corner and we will be starting at 10am as now its getting dark early we need to be finished and packed away
any under 105 competitors not hitting weight will be able to compete in the opens
we are now completely full
EVENTS
105kg Novices / Opens
Truck Pull (Fire Engine)
Log 85kg / Log 120kg
Frame Carry novices 2
Car Deadlift ....different cars for each, weights to be confirmed BMW
Loading Medley (different weighted kegs)
all events head to head where possible

the loading medley is now Beer Kegs weight is around 100kg for 5 plus a 6th heavier......this one may change, as we have been promised the kegs and will still need to see them and fill them
the harness drag we tried yesterday and harness is possible (the Arm over Arm was not so good) so we will now be doing harness for all competitors, we decided too that we will only be using 1 fire engine as the 2 we had access too are both different
deadlift has been confirmed as BMW sponsers at the moment the plan is a 3 series for the novices and an x5 for the opens, again if its too easy we will add kegs to the back of the vehicle, our frame has 18" handles (more or less) ...... again as i dont have direct access to the vehicles i can't determin weights totally until the day.....
frames are 200kg and 300kg
log is 85kg and 120kg
Weighins are at the gym New Spartan Gym WD24 7XA the comp is 2 mins round the corner WD24 7GP(should be signs up by then for both) Comp starts at 10am (october it starts getting dark early) weigh ins will be from 7.30 /8am as we will be setting up and people will be at the gym from then

This might be a stupid question but is there 3 categories as in: 105s, novices and opens or is it 105 novices and opens if that makes any sense?

very interested, only down road from me, question is, do i try and stay around 105, or stick to my current plan of bulking and see how strong i am at a heavier weight, hmm choices choices!

its quite a good entry level open weight comp
