kirkynick said:Welcome mate! What are your goals? Do you want to compete in strongman or what?

EDIT: LOL! I just saw your goals.

Yes mate i just put my goals up,

Well at the minute just want to get my wights up in all my main lifts, and see where go from there. As much as it would be great to get involved in comps, there a long way to go till can even start to think about that.

Thanks for the welcome.

Sunday Session

Well as it mothers day today only had a short amount of time to get down gym.

What started out as not a very good session as felt tired and rushed, turned into a session that proud of.

Squats
Warm up sets, Bar x 10/ 50 x 5 / 60 x 5
Working sets, 105 x 3 / 105 x 3 / 90 x 5
( was not happy with these as was aiming for 5 reps each set and only managed 3 )

Car
Short story about the car, when i first started at the warehouse gym i attempted the car and couldn't move it of the floor, and set myself a goal to be able to lift the car, and that was a personal goal of mine that i have been trying to get for a long time, countless attempt's i have failed.

car x 1 / car x 1 / car x 3

Felt really comfortable and was proud that the effort of going gym is slowly paying of and strength is going up, and actually managed to do the car.

Log press
working sets, 45 x 5 / 45 x 5 / 45 x 5

Bicep
Bicep curls, 3 sets

Hammer curls, 3 sets

pull ups 2 x 10

Today's session changed to what it should of been, but think once a week i'm going to throw in a session like this doing, Car, Logs and maybe Atlas stones or farmers.

Wednesday Session

Squats
Warm up sets, bar x 10 / 60 x 5 60 x 5
Working sets, 100 x 5 / 105 x 5 / 105 x 5 PB

Squats felt good today, didn't think i was gonna get 105 x 5 till friday / monday session, However got 2 sets out today, and think i could of had a bit more in me, so friday session should be interesting.

In the coming weeks when my weights begin to plateau on squats going to add more working sets and may do a few sets at 1 or 2 reps. But for now don't see the need to change it.

Strict press
Warm up sets, bar x 8 / 30 x 5
Working sets, 50 x 5 / 45 x 5 / 45 x 3

Need to try and focus more on me shoulders, as they are lacking big time.

Power Cleans
Working sets, 60 x 3 / 65 x 3 / 65 x 2 / 65 x 3 / 65 x 3 PB

Wide grip pull ups
2 sets of 8
1 set of 3, very slow on negative,

Nice session Ian
