This ridiculous elbow pain/tennis elbow or whatever it is has completely crippled me, cant even pick up my bag without it killing me, have even started keeping it bent because it aches all the time....! Cant clean at all, struggling to press oh. Well, looks like its squats and deadlifts every day.....! | ||

Will see the doctor about the elbow, but cant see that heavy training is going to happen again. Plus, with bad back which just keeps coming back every time i pick anything off the floor (last time did sets of DL's for 10's with 80kg and couldnt stand up straight for a week!!) just beginning to think I might have reached the end of my lifting career....! Cant afford physios, chiropractors etc and some gear to help me recover is not an option as I am a natural...! Hopefully, next post will be some improvement as there are some brilliant comps coming up and I would love to crack some Inter's comps next year!! | ||

The elbow is not right, but is better for the long rest, the back also feels easier. Anyway, I was encouraged along to events training (theres a gentle return!! ) at Muscle Inc yesterday. When I got there, the guys suggested deadlifts and stones....! In for a penny and all that, I agreed and had a right result. Did normal oly deadlifts as follows 60x10 100x6 140x4 180x4 (flew up!! Couldnt believe it) 220xf (no surprise as this would have equalled my pb of all time!!!) did get it off the floor though 200x2 (cant tell you how amazed I was to pull these, quite easily!!) So, then we moved to axle deads (18") outside (freezing!! ) 105x5 155x3 205x1 205x1 Stones 90kgx5 onto top platform (not sure of height but must be about 6foot) then processions of stones as follows 90kgx1 105kgx1 120kgx1 130x1 Did this run three times Feel like battered s**t this morning but feel great. Cant believe how little strength I have lost. Feels good to ache like this. If the injuries stay away, I have my eyes on the CHASE CHARITY CHALLENGE 2012 for the summer!! Intermediates for me this year so I will have to be the strongest i have ever been. Some goals 250 deadlift (currently 200-210ish) 220 squat (currently 160 i would think, previous best is 180) 135 push press 160 bench ( I know benching is gay). | ||

HAng cleans 50kg x 5 x4 sets (just to work the elbow). One hand overhead press 35kg x single each side 45x single es 50xsingle es 55xsingle es 55 x 2 es. Front squats 50x6 60x6 70x6 70x6 Strict Press 50kg x 8 60kgx6 70kgx4 80x3 Tricep press downs stack for 10reps x 5 sets Easing back in nicely!! | ||

Today - Pressing Push press 60x10 100x3 100x3 120x1 130xf 100x3 Grappler press bar + 40x10 each hand 60x6 80x4 60x8 Seated machine press 40kg 3 sets to fail Elbow is throbbing, but bearing up. Kept it wrapped as much as poss. Hopefully it will get easier as I get back into training. Pleased with how easy the 120push press went up as it wasnt long ago this was a pb. Think I would have got 125, but the 130 was a bit too much of a jump...still you have to try!! | ||
