Seated Press (Arnold press) 12.5kg x 10reps - first rep really slow (5 sec up, 5 sec down) then speed for 8 reps, then last rep slow.... 3 sets Floor Presses 140x6 140x 150x4 150x3, 140x5,100x10,60x10 drop set Grappler Press 60kgx8 each hand x 4 sets Hurt my Right shoulder on the 65kg one hand attempt, hoping that lots of stretching will prevent injury!! Feels ok now, but will see what tomorrow brings!! Back feeling much easier, but not going to do deads till after my holiday (off to Turkey in 3 days for a week!!). For reference : FYI- 70lbs - 31.75kg 90lbs = 40.82kg 100lbs =40.35kg 120lbs - 54.43kg 130lbs - 58.96kg 140lbs -63.5kg | ||

Sooooo.... Squats 60x5 100x3 140x2 160x1 180x1 PB!!!! 140x4 Hamstring curls not sure weight, just stretching off really!! Push Press 60x5 100x3 120x1 130x1 OMG 5kg PB!! Totally unexpected. Actually the press was pretty easy - must have just got it all right!! Also, the break for my shoulders must have helped. 130xf 120x1 100x5 Bench 85kg x12 85kg x12 90 x10 95x8 95x8 90x10 Grappler Press bar +60kg x8 each hand x3 sets Cable flyes just to finish!! TWO PB's - what a result!! should have holidays more often!! | ||

Bench 87.5x10 92.5x8 92.5x8 97.5x6 107.5x5 112.5x4 (final one with assistance from spotter 92.5x8 Grappler press 60kgx6 each hand 70x5 eh 80x4 eh 80x4 eh Floor Press (smith) 100x6 140x4 140x4 140x3 140x3, 100x6, 60x12 drop set Tricep presses laying 17.5kg DB's to fail about 25-30reps 60 second front holds with 10 kg plate (killer!!) Maybe next time. Still having trouble with my lower back so am avoiding deadlifts - even noticing that the squats or cleans are hurting it....cant afford a layoff, so not sure what to do...! | ||

I have only recently startedbenching again, and I have always been rubbish at it...the elusive 140 (three plates each side) was always just out of reach...UNTIL TODAY!!! Bench 60x4 100x3 120x1 130x1 140x1 then 2 forced reps with a spotter - actually think I would have had the second one anyway.....CANT BELIEVE IT AFTER ALMOST 20 years since I first started weightlifting at school!!!! Then 120x4 100x10 60x12 Bench with pink woody bands 60kg x 10 speed reps 70x10 speed reps 70x10 speed reps Dumbell Tricep presses laying 25kg x10 x3 sets Cable flyes to finish!! Just wished I had videoed it. Will do next time!! CHUFFED! (with a 130 overhead and a 170+ floor press it was well overdue!!LOL) | ||

Not a great session but best I could manage with the sore elbow... | ||

Member 424, 532 posts SQ 190, BP 145, DL 220555.0 kgs @ 103kgs UnEq | As I am stuck at work for 14 hours and cant get to the gym, I am going to update my goals!! 1) Deadlift 250kg (current 200kg) 2) Push press 150kg (current 130kg) 3) Bench (I know its gay) 160kg (current 140kg) 4) Squat 220kg (current 180kg) These are pretty big jumps - particularly for a natural (and I am 35years old!!)still - thems the goals!! Maybe by this time next year! | ||
