Put a search in Google for "Not yet available and not free blog sites" and you're sure to hit the jackpot with sites that are neither free nor readily available. Good luck!

I just did that and got this...

RSS is a family of Web feed formats used to publish frequently updated content such as blog entries, news headlines, and podcasts.[2] An RSS document (which is called a "feed" or "web feed" [3] or "channel") contains either a summary of content from an associated web site or the full text. RSS makes it possible for people to keep up with web sites in an automated manner that can be piped into special programs or filtered displays.[3]

RSS content can be read using software called an "RSS reader", "feed reader" or an "aggregator". The user subscribes to a feed by entering the feed's link into the reader or by clicking an RSS icon in a browser that initiates the subscription process. The reader checks the user's subscribed feeds regularly for new content, downloading any updates that it finds.

Basically there are two types of RSS readers: 1)Web based, such as the Google Reader. 2)Program based. There are lots of RSS reader programs you can download to run directly on your computer. In either case these RSS readers give you a handy interface to simultaneously monitor your favorite feeds from multiple sites and sources.. Just follow the directions for each reader.

The initials "RSS" are used to refer to the following formats:

Really Simple Syndication (RSS 2.0)
RDF Site Summary (RSS 1.0 and RSS 0.90)
Rich Site Summary (RSS 0.91).
RSS formats are specified using XML, a generic specification for the creation of data formats. Although RSS formats have evolved since March 1999,[4] the RSS icon ("") first gained widespread use in 2005/2006.

I got bored at this point and did a search for "naked russian teen gymnasts" and "Girls Aloud naked"

Bit of a 'how long is a piece of string' question really, costs can range from barely anything to thousands of pounds depending on what you're doing.

If you're just doing a simple personal site you can use various site builders and programs like Dreamweaver/Front Page to knock them up yourself.

For domains, I would use www.fasthosts.co.uk or www.telivo.com - the former often has deals on where you buy a hosting package and you get the domain free (you need webspace as well as the domain).

Places like geocities and even Google now I believe offer free webspace but you will be constrained to using their URLs... e.g. www.geocities.com/~paulswebsite

- The simplest/cheapest way to make your own website is to start a blog, as long as that covers everything you need, there are plenty of free providers out there.

I tried the link, but it doesn't work.

Why am I so bad at computers?!

did i ever mention my website was website of the day on steve wright in the sfternoon ?

miles mendoza was meant to send me the tape of them discussing it (as i missed it) but he sent me the wrong day , numpty.

its gonna be pretty hard to sell photos paul mate, ive been a proffessional photographer befor and failed to make a dent.

papparazzi is where the moneys at !!
AvatarCuddles
Plus you can then take 'up skirt' pictures in an attempt to find a Girls Alouds beaver. You'll make plenty of money off Littler if nothing else.

really mate?

not really doing it for the cash as such but because i love it
i have done some very good portrait stuff recently and some one had asked me to do their wedding next year

Did you have your own studio etc?
AvatarRob
Paul, have a nosey around Google mate. I'm sure there will be several sites which let photographers upload their pictures and then sell them on - doing it this way rather than setting up your own payment method would be miles cheaper.

I know istockphoto pays you when people on their download your images - there are plenty of photographers/companies making very nice money out of that site.
Avatarpurplepaul
had a look at istock and i will be uploading some stuff on there soon

I was asking more for future refrence as i know you work in that area and boar has set up some web site
that once got a 3 second airing on that old persons radio stationWink
