Sounds like Andy ran an awesome comp....be good to see BSM stay up in Scotland nex year IMO

Big congrats to Hixxy, who is, without doubt, the strongest guy at 105 in the country! Hope something can materlialise on the national stage for this guy, as he'd do very very well

No suprise that Bish beasted that comp, super strong athlete. Big congrats to Simon T, trained his bo***cks off and got his just reward.

Sounds like Ben had a great day, but was shafted by callous probs on the frame

Super work from Marsbar too, solid as always, and there or therabout every time on the big national level comps

Congrats to everyone who took part and all the guys who made the comp happen

Off whom? I think the only people who will make that decision are the athletes and guys involved with this comp and its qualifiers!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As long as the comp has the same standard as yesterday doesnt matter where it is,although Andy and his crew worked ther bo***cks of and we wher rewarded with a class comp.
As for Hixxy i hope big things come his way he has dominated 105 i would like to see him move upto opens where IMO he would be placing very high.
The standard of everyone competing was very impressive.

a very very good comp infact almost great !

personally i would not of let fred hicks compete the rules had been stated and reiterated over 105 at 1200pm no comp!

Hix was even better than at esm totally dominant no one in this country will be able to beat him even in a rigged comp

Bish a little below what i expected from him onwards to the opens

simon t The quiet man! snuck in under my radar and almost nailed 2nd great show great potential

everyone else gave their best to make a long trip worthwhile

looking forward to seeing hix and bish bash it out in melton soon!

Jt,you are entirely right i did say 9.00 to 12.00 and i fully accept that pushing the weigh in out to 1.00pm was weakness on my part and very possibly a poor decision.
However,in my defense i will only say that we had a lot of pull outs for this comp and i felt like the guy who had travelled the furthest and hadn't let us down deserved to be cut a bit of slack, wrongly or rightly it was my call and take responsibility for it.I did say to Freddie that if even one athlete complained then it was a no,all athletes unanimously insisted that Freddie be allowed extra time which i think showed fantastic sportsmanship which this sport is famous for and which these guys all continued to show throughout the comp.
Just to repeat,i fully accept it may have been a bad judgement on my part and had Freddie won i would deservedly have taken some flack.
One other competitor turned up at 12.02 for a weigh-in,and 3 others were late in getting there for the rules at twelve so sometimes we have to use a bit of our judgement here.
Can i also take this time JT to thank you and all the others who put so much effort into making all the qualifiers work.

a little note, i made a mistake in the stones when i thought adam and simon where joint points and because of this simon got to go after adam because he had won an event, sorry was my bad it was the only time i got involved in the scores so sorry to both adam and simon should have just left the score to the misses
