Just wanna say a massive thanks to all the organisers and helpers who made it all happen. And for the oppertunity to compete against the strongest guys around! And i was by far the skinniest! Lol I feel i let myself down by failing a 120 log which i cn do every week in the gym, but s**t happens:/ i got 6 reps on dumbel so was happy, 350kg yoke!!! Wtf 9.5metres? it was a pb for me and on stones i was happy to get the 135 up which i failed in northerns. I know the things i need to work on, sqauts and deads mostly. I look forward to the strongman classic in september. Well done to everyone else who qauliied and joni for making 1st reserve which i know hes very happy with. Hixxy what a beast 170 log. | ||

Huge thanks to everyone involved, the athtless, the audience, the sponsors, all the loaders and helpers (esp' Danny "The Workhorse" Walsh and my main man Kenny who was there with me from 5.30pm Saturday to 7.30pm Sunday!), Boarvision Multimedia Sound and Vision, Sanderson & Son Scoring Systems (legends!) and Mark Clegg and OSG who really make this type of event possible and in my opinion have raised the profile of the sport beyond recognition in the North West and beyond. Congrats to the Champ Hixxy, awesome performance with the pressure on as the favourite. Shame for Ben K getting injured, and Wayne too who did it setting his yoke height of all things. See some of you next week at the OSG u80kg comp'... and some more of you at the BSM 105s.  | ||
