Does anyone else get really bad s**ts off Mutant mass? I've never had a drama with protein before, but mutant was unreal. I followed through on a fart while washing up and had to waddle upstairs in shame.
I just don't get what can be in thats different to other brands.

it might be a reaction to an additive/sweetener rather than the protein/carbs in it.

Definitely right about the sweetners or flavourings, if I have any protein that is strawberry flavour I get mega stomach cramps and constantly feel like I need a crap! If I use the same protein but in choc or vanilla flavour, I'm fine!

Funny you should say that, I was really bad on the strawberry flavour but the triple choc isn't as bad.

Is there anything I can add to it to help?

I don't know why people consume crap like this. What's wrong with food?

Protip: if it gives you gastric distress, don't buy it again Happy.

Seriously, some proteins just don't agree with some people. Best thing you can do is give/sell it to a mate and try something else.

I think a lot of protein power have very high lactose content as they are dervied from milk afterall. You may just have lactose intolerance.

Lactose is a carbohydrate. The basic whey powders will have less than 2g of lactose per 30g serving. It's not exactly a lot, but if people are extremely intolerant it might be too much. If this is the case, then get the whey isolate version which has less than 0.2g of lactose which should be fine.

I'm not always able to eat when I like through the day so having a mass shake does help in getting those extra calories. My Sergeant-Major might have something to say if I mugged work off to go and eat every 3 hours.

Thanks anyway for the advice guys, gonna sell it and try another brand, gonna try Stacker 2 ultra mass, anyone heard of it?

I haven't - why not mix some plain or flavoured protein powder from a bulk supplier with oats, fruit, peanut butter, milk or whatever else and make a whole foods-based solution?

I might try that for a breakfast shake, sometimes find it easy to drink than eat in a morning.

hello i sell a lot of mutant mass over 500 a year and its a great mass builder for your skinny guys who struggle to gain weight and cant get enough cal in through food

it might be 2 things

1 mutant mass has a very unusual carb source as its primary ingreadient
they use corn flower instead of waxy maze or maltidextrin
they are all from corn but the corn flower is not pre-digested so you might be having problems with that

2 the seving size is realy high i think arround 240g a serving and it might be that your digestive system cant process that amount of powder in time

i would suggest if its not coming out the other end nice try a company called inner armour they have a product call hard mass that is an exact ripp off of mutant mass but with waxy maze instead of corn flower
or if you dont mind paying a little more USN hyperbolic mass is the best selling mass builder we do its very low in sugar and fat and the customers report realy good gains from it
