Right lads this is a national level competition and events will be reffed accordingly.

Event 1. Barrell/Drag Medley. Head 2 Head.
2 X 100kg Beer Barrells to be carried 20 metres each and placed on to a sled then dragged 20 metres back.
75 second time limit ..

Athlete will start behind the line and be asked if ready by the referee. When athlete confirms they will start on the whistle. Both barrels must be carried the full 20m course and placed onto the sled. The sled must then be pulled the full length of the course(20m). In the event of a barrel falling from the sled the athlete must return it to the sled immediately. The whistle will stop when the entire sled crosses the finish line, the referee will give the athlete an audible signal when this is accomplished. In the event of an athlete not completing the course a measurement will be taken to the back of the sled after 75 seconds.

Event 2. Deadlift
16" Barbell Deadlift with big truck tyres .. Weight is 240kg for max reps.
75 seconds

No suits or straps.

Athlete will approach and place their hands on the bar. They will then be asked if they are ready, on confirmation the command "lift" will be given and the time will start. Athlete must lift the bar from floor to full lockout and await the command "down" from the referee. Hands must remain on the bar during its descent. The athlete must then wait for the "lift" signal from the referee before commencing another rep.

Not waiting for the down signal, failing to keep your hands on the bar during its descent or lifting before the lift command will result in a no lift.

Event 3. Log Challenge
4 IFSA spec logs to be lifted . 100kg,110kg,115kg,120kg

Logs lined up in a line like 105kg worlds . 75 secs, logs must be tackled in order.

Athlete will take up position with hands on first log, again they will be asked if ready and once confirmation is recieved a "lift" command will be given and time started. Athlete then presses, jerks, one motions, snatches(if they're nuts) to lockout overhead. Elbows must be locked, head through, feet somewhere in line and log under full control. There will then be a "down" signal at which point the athlete must return the log to the ground under control. Athlete can then proceed to next log. Time will stop on completion of the 4 logs. If not all logs are completed the time of your last succesfull lift will be taken.

Pressing off the head, not waiting for the down command or throwing the logs about will result in a no lift.

Event 4. Farmers / Frame carry.
112kg Suitcase farmers 20 metres then 250kg Frame 20 metres. Fastest time ....
Drop as many times as you want . 75secs time limit

Athlete will approach equipment and position implements to their satisfaction behind the line. They will then be asked if ready at which point they may take their grip. When the referee recieves confirmation of the athlete being ready they will lift/start on the command. Farmers must be carried full length of course and completely cross the line at which point referee will give audible confirmation of this. Athlete the proceeds to frame and must carry that the full distance of the course. Frame must completely cross the line and again referee will give audible confirmation of this. Fastest time wins. If athlete fails to complete course a measurement to the back of the equipment will be taken.

No dragging of the implements will be permitted. Multiple drops are allowed.

Event 5. Squat .
Axle and Truck tyres 190kg for reps

No suits. Knee wraps and wrist wraps allowed.

Athlete will approach and un rack the bar. Referee will ask if athlete is ready, once confirmation is recieved the athlete will recieve the "squat command." The athlete must then squat until the top surface of the legs at the hip joint is lower than the top of the knee. The athlete must then return to standing position where they will then recieve either another "squat" command or a "no lift" if the athlete has failed to reach depth. After recieving the "squat" or "no lift" command the athlete can then perform their next rep. Maximum numbers of reps in 75s wins.

An athletes attempt is over when they fail to compete a rep(spotters will intervene), ask the spotters to rack the bar, rack the bar themselves, lose the bar off the shoulders.

Squatting before the "squat" or "no lift" signal will result in a no lift.

Event 6. Atlas Stones. Head 2 Head

100kg - 110kg - 120kg - 135kg to 60" - 56" - 52"- 48" All with run-ins like WSM ..75s limit

Run in distance tbc

Athletes will approach starting position and be asked if ready. Once both confirm the lift command will be given and time will start. Athletes must place stones on descending platforms, if a stone falls off a platform the athlete must replace it. Fastest time for 4 stones wins, with time for last completed stone being taken if you fail to complete them all.

All events excluding last will be run in reverse order of last events placings, meaning winning an event earns you the right to go last in the next event. Final event will be run in reverse of overall standings.
