Must have been bad source on Hollands as he is still competing and got 3rd in deadlift

Maybe he chose to do the dead lift with the bicep injury before pulling out, just because he loves that event?

I wish him a speedy recovery.

s**t news about the injuries. :-(

Anyone know today’s schedule? Today and tomorrow for the heats, or do they finish today?

If Mark Felix had got his overhead to a higher level from the early days he works have got podium in a good few WSM finals. No one can tell me otherwise.
Also,Novikov...
You shouldn’t have done all the cheats in the past. (Yes, I mean 2019 straps)
Served you right! (I fully expect him to smash the rest of this heat and more than likely win the final though. Tut )

Bish must’ve messed up on loading then?
Stormed the deadlift though.

Or to put more points between Bishop(training partner) and Pritchett.

Terry mentions a serious injury in event 1 on his Instagram, also announces his WSM retirement.

s**t!
Saw a video of him asking someone to film his next event (must have been deadlift) as it’s his last event ever. :-(
Wonder what was so bad that still enabled such a good deadlift performance?

I imagine dead lift with straps is doable with a torn bicep if you have a "it's f**ked anyway, I want to finish on a good performance on an event I love" attitude.

Well possibly I suppose. It is strongman after all. I’ve had a torn bicep tendon and I couldn’t straighten my arm. Or maybe I could’ve if I hadn’t cared if it totally detached.
Anyway good luck to Tel.

I’m sure a 360lg deadlift would have straightened it out Wink

Well well well...
I hear from Loz’s video that Novikov may have dragged the frame some of the way instead of ‘carrying’ it.
(Probably with roller skates underneath too!)
