A top form z will qualify out of that group but if he's not at his best he might not even make the final. Whoever wins that group I can't see them having an easy time of it.  Member 5560, 769 posts | With the stone thing I think loz could be pretty vulnerable. He will probably finish 2nd in the group and need to beat Shivlyakov on stones. I think that's a long way from being certain. I hate the gimmick with the stones. Hope it's reps rather than max weight. If it's max weight a guy could finish 6th in the group and fairly easily make it through if he is the best stone lifter. If you're Shaw would you even bother putting any effort into the first 5 events? | ||

I really hope he comes in at his best as I'm a z fan and want to see him have one last decent crack at his fifth title. With best, zageris, hollands and pritchett in his group he needs to be at his very best on everything though. | ||

I think this year is the hardest to predict in a long time. So much will depend on who makes the final to come between ed, shaw and thor on the static/moving stuff. Whoever wins I think it'll be really close right up to the end. | ||

Double figures for them both no problem.I think Pritchett will potentially take points from Thor and Shaw in both squat and deadlift. | ||
