 Still got a little bit of strength Member 400, 22056 posts | WSM needs an overhaul. I would have something like... Duck walk / tyre flip medley Car wheelbarrow Viking press Heavy squat for reps on pivot (TO DEPTH!) Husafel Stone Pole push Power stairs Atlas stones can stay in the heats. | ||

It's what happens in a small niche sport unfortunately because the organisers are close to the athletes and are susceptible to the natural bias we all are. Not to mention they probably want to pick events that will keep the comp close and make it entertaining. We also have heard that certain star athletes trying to manipulate things themselves, refusing to do even big contests if they have certain events in them. That's something that's no secret and has been going since the very start of Strongman. When you think about it the fact that a few athletes seem to know the WSM events early while others have to wait for them to be released to the public is pretty shocking in itself. | ||

The extra bw makes sense given the suggested events and the fact that he doesnt need as much comp fitness as he did for europes (2 events a day instead of 5). | ||
