Hanging on a bar for time, over a pit of crocodiles.

Oli Thompson once did that on the show "Britain's Hardest" minus the crocodiles...

He lost on that event as he was by far the heaviest man and eliminated. If it wasnt for that I think he would have won the rest of the events and title of Britain's hardest!

Shaw thor and Eddie would struggle massively on this event.

2 events test everything
Deadlift medley
Press medley
Done.
(Slightly boring, but finished quick)
Heats And final exactly the same. So it's fair.

Or, all athletes in 1 giant final.
:-)

Preferred WSM in the 90s and 2000s tbh. I even preferred the squat and deadlift events with the kegs in the cage. But at least these days we've got better athletes and more chance of British podium finishes. Will be good this year with Hixxy back hopefully and Bish, as well as the usual Brits. But generally I watch it cos it's a tradition. :-)

some people wrote he is good for 220-230 log

hes very strong from the shoulders, but his lockout sucks
cant compare with the king

even if he excels his shape for bigger lift which i doubt will be over 210, will be temporary

Not only this but i have never seen anybody clean logs and axles as easy as zydrunas.
Nobody is close to this day on those exercises.

Z used to use a little bit of leg drive. Minimal but leg drive nonetheless

Not every time.
His 200kg strict axle in competition 2007 was as strict as it could get.
And a 200kg strict press was not even heard of at that time.

People seem to be overlooking the fact that 200 was at the end of a long session. That's unbelievable to get that kind of weight up. What he can press is a scary thought. I think the clean will be his limiting factor

US strongman Rob Kearney has shared a screen shot of an email inviting him to WSM so invites are starting to go out. Hopefully early enough this year that a lot of good guys haven't already signed up to compete elsewhere.

Why has Rob Kearney got an invite?

I've no idea. I didn't even know he had moved up from the 105kg.

TBH you don't have to have achieved that much to get an invite if you're from the US at the moment. Strength in depth is pretty poor in the states right now.
