Seated shoulder press (weight loaded machine)- 40kg x 20, 80kg x 15, 120kg x 10, 140kg x 5, 160kg 3 x 3 reps, 80kg x 20. Was on one of those s**tty, shoulder press machines that go up separately but is on a pivot so makes it stupidly easier.
Side delt raises- 2 x 10 reps
Front delt cable raises- 2 x 10 reps
Fluffed up guns
5 mins cross trainer
Load of stretches for my back and an stuff.

Good stuff Robbo!
So, will you be fighting at crusier or heavy-weight? Pro, semi-pro or amateur?
I like how you didn't state your current lifts Grin
I'd be interesting in how you're training and how you're incorporating the weights (if at all), send us a PM if you don't want to write it here. Mention your current lift.
Yeah, I'm good, spent most of last year doing fight training (Combat Sambo).

Haha sorry mate I forgot to list my lifts but here they are roughly...

Bench - 130 cgbp paused (I only do cgbp as my chest is too big to keep a tight guard and elbows in)
Squat around 170 just belt
Dead around 230-240

I'm weak as piss at 94kg mate especially compared to what I used to lift

Mon - 1 hour 1-1 with my coach then 1 hour bags and circuits
Tues - 3 or 5 mike run. Pb is 3 mile in 21.30
Wed - 1.5 hours boxing/sparring/skipping/bag
Thurs - sprint training, usually 10 rounds of 200m sprint + big set of steps
Friday - same as Wednesday
Saturday - strength training and shadow
Sun - off

This is what I'm doing up till the fight now

I'm fighting at super heavy mate, amateur ABA, going to keep up around 94-95kg as my weight has levelled out around here for now

Good to hear your still doing your sambo stuff mate

That's excellent. How long you been at the boxing?

Started end of May last year mate

Been flat out getting in shape and ready for a fight but luckily I got a good coach

Boxed 10 years ago for a while but didn't fight competitively and always done a bit here and there but never at this intensity.

Excellent.
Getting in much heavy sparring?
Do you know who you'll be up against? What is it now, 3x3 min rounds?

Up against a short stocky lad from Hull mate. From eastside gym, he's had one fight and got stopped I think.

Getting a fair bit of sparring in, some heavy some not so. Find it easier sparring the heavier lads that weigh more than me, the 75-80kg lads are a lot tougher and exhaust me and are so fast and technical.

It's normally 3x2min rounds sometimes it's 4x2 and I've seen some 3x3 which are very tough! Also no headguards now if mutually agreed by both fighters which is great.

Oh and don't worry about Petes journal, this is the most exciting page of all his journal Grin
