If I could only figure that split thing out. I weigh 105+ now and that's a lot for my class in USA. Does the exertion of the press occur immediately after the split? Are you pushing the weight first off of your upper chest first. I hope you understand my question Andy. Great job! The split as of yet does not work, but launching it off my chest and leg explosion works.

Mate honest question, didn't you used to be much better at jerks overall? As in, you were way ahead of everything else and hitting 140+ whenever? Did I imagine this? Didn't you CJ 140 at some point?

Andy is better at jerks now than he has ever been. The jerks you remember were from jerk blocks and technically they weren't a patch on his jerks now. We have brought it back to basics to improve him technically through a lot of graft without chasing numbers straight away. Personally I think it is paying good dividends.

Reps from racks is a world away from jerks from blocks.

Yeah i c&j 140 but I've had s**tty niggles for ages too. (Since then)

The jerks from the racks are misleading. I feel that a 130x2 equates to a 140+ single. (For me anyway) The lowering is like a rep in itself!

I used to dip and drive forward whereas now the line is straight.

They definitely look a lot better now. You sorted out your dip and drive which was a big step and now Jeff has your recoveries sorted they look the real deal.
