I was dating a girl years ago. She loved to dance. I used to work on a stage in a huge night club. I would be there never move with a blank stare as females tried to make me smile. I would never let my guard down. Dudes would give me the I can take you look. My girlfriend at the time and try to make me jealous by dancing with other men . I knew she was wrong by her behavior and knew she would soon be dumped. I took a 5 minute break. I saw the most beautiful girl in the world. When we caught each other's eyes, it was love at first sight.
She gave me her number secretly. I put it in my pocket. A big fight broke out that day. One of my guys got hurt. 2 of us ran after the abuser. We got fired because we left the bar for an hour or less chasing the dude all over pittsburgh. I lost her number.

What dimensions of lost can you stand?

That's a great story Billy, loss I feel is in the very nature of what we are.I expect too lose so much through my life as I get old I lose my sight,my strength when I'm no longer able I'll lose my job,slowly I'll lose my friends to old age heart attack or accidents.family will move to different part of the country a distance to vast to regularly visit,we earn money we spend it we lose it.some of those memories that at the time you vow never to forget you lose and forget,when someone close to you dies and you try to remember there face but somehow no matter how hard you try the face fades ...further and further out of focus as the years roll by,finally after all the loss you lose your life as any living organism must.I expect to lose everything I hope to keep much but the limits of my loss the thing that would push me to the limits of what I'm prepared to lose....my kids no perant should ever have to lose there child.

Wow john! It's 6 in the morning here. The things that came so close but never were. I wonder what she looks like now. Probably 300 pounds with gout and no teeth! That is shallow for me to say. We now are 2 strongman on a mission.

Lol Billy you provoke my inner most thoughts :-) I to think off ones I have loved and lost and often wondered what if.
Then wonder if they think the same...truthfully probably not they be thinking of another one they have lost out out and it would continue into some sort of chaos theory that links us all.......perhaps

I'm a late bloomer haven't had chance to beat um up yet :-) :-) but I have weak wrists if that counts.
