Very nice.
I like it when comps are held in what look like hotel conference rooms. That platform on carpet look is very North American. We should do more it here. Brynevans can make this happen.

Yeah, they're cool.
There'd be some sort of licensing law prohibiting bar lifting over here.

I think Doncaster PL club used to hold comps in a pub also.

I went to a powerlifting comp in a pub in Yorkshire a few years back. It was actually 1st floor over the bar which is even more surreal. I think Jonny Mills was lifting and Fat Pete may have been driving. I remember being really s**t faced, which may detract from the reliability of the previous sentence somewhat. I wouldn't of been there by myself though.
Also, I'm not sure if Yorkshire are exempt from licensing laws for some reason or other, but PL comp in Pub = check!

Iv always wondered what would happen if you did multiple reps in comp. I suppose when its being held in a pub that is more likely to happen

Correctamundo. Archie from Cosgroves came with us too. Plus Tom Chandler scrounged a lift to Birch Services on the way back. It was a Polo, diesel, about 70 horse power and it could only manage about 40 mph leaving Yorkshire with about 90 stone and a couple of kitbags in the back. Once past the highest point - it flew and didn't use any fuel for the next five miles
