Hips and back felt a bit tight from doing nothing over the weekend. Need to do a little bit of mobility on rest days to prevent this in the future.

Deadlifts felt a little out of practise with heavier weight, not sure if its because of the uneven flooring at the gym or because I haven't gone over 110 for a couple of weeks. Not bad session considering it took me almost 2 hours to get to the gym due to tube strikes and added traffic lol.

Good session, didn't expect the beltless PB. I remembered before my comp in march my best beltless single was about 160 with a low bar and wider stance, so not far off at all.

Nice! Some progress...looks like you're catching up with the programming now, should be easier to keep moving forwards. Bench probably requires some more bodyweight...

Looks like there's a little more there on the squat as well.

Cheers Guys. Yeah Tom, bodyweight wasn't so good that day, standing up/moving about 8 hours every day at work will do that to you, but I think its mostly water because after a couple of days off its right back up.

Another small PB on my deadlift using a stiff power bar so its a legit one lol. Also played around with using my wrist wraps for better grip off the floor, not sure if it makes a difference tbh.

Cheers man, I've done 205 two weeks before my last comp, but it was with a weightlifting bar so its pretty easy to pull the slack out of it before it even comes off the floor lol. 195 felt smooth so should be good for more.

Managed to persuade my manager yesterday to get in 90 minutes early so we could both train before opening up the gym. Did alright considering I woke up pretty early, felt sore from working all weekend and had to cut my rest periods and warm up a little shorter than I'd like to. I'm lucky I've got a decent manager, otherwise I wouldn't had been able to train at all today, as well as the fact I'm still technically not allowed to train at work because of the incident a couple weeks back lol...

Been feeling crap all week with a bad throat, sinus pressure and other inconvenient symptoms but considering I've had that and early shifts all week at work I haven't missed a set, rep or session this week so it could be worse I guess. Going to try and rest up as much as possible this weekend.
