have you ever experienced tube strikes before? it said there are still tubes running but some stations closed and they wont be running often. is there any point in me walking to Moorgate to get the circle line to the gym or will I just be waiting forever and then not get on because it will be too full?

I was born in London. I'm not sure if your question is rhetorical or not.

I'm getting on the train from Moorgate at 17:15 and going to train at Zone Gym in Wood Green. One train (which is guaranteed running) if you're up for it.

Mehrad - sorry for log hijack. You got any comps lined up?

it wasn't rhetorical, I genuinely didn't know how long you had been in London or even if the tubes had done strikes before.

so anyway yes I will attempt to get to the gym tomorrow for my paused front squat PB attempt

Yeah, they always strike. Fare rises above inflation to "improve services", then the fat cats get 500k a year plus the same in bonuses. Any excuse. They're not happy with 50k+ a year. 20% pay rise over 4 years and the cnts still aren't happy.

No worries Funky, upcoming comp is GBPF South East classics in March 2nd.

@Jack yeah I know, it sucks. I'm lucky the overground is still running ok, just hope it doesn't bother me if I need to get into work at 6am on the later dates.

Put a belt on for 80 and 90 to see if it would make any difference. Didn't really notice too much from using it apart from being a little tighter, felt my back being worked a little more with it...

Felt really bad today, I had a strong coffee with breakfast and a caffeine tablet pre workout and I was still yawning like I was ready to get back to bed. Was ready to settle with light deadlifts today but I decided not to. Still hit my targets for that session so hopefully if all is good next week I should be lifting more in forthcoming weeks.
