And a big well done to Hixxy and Ben K for getting to the qualifiers. That in itself is a massive achievement. Simply due to their recent domination in competitions I can't see past Z and Shaw as 1st & 2nd, no particular order but I think the 3rd place slow is up for grabs by a few guys, hopefully one of the brits. | ||

Squat over deadlift this year will favour Z as a few guys will come between him and Shaw in squat (Eddie, Loz and Brant), but wouldn't in deadlift. I think Z will win keg toss too as he blows the others away in the heats traditionally. No grip events in the final also favours Z massively, as he always loses points there which he has to make up on the remaining events to catch Shaw up. I predict: Z, Shaw, Burke, Thor, Terry, Loz | ||

Z is not retiring this year . If he wins he will come back for 5th title . As for Shaw in the long run ... hope he stays healthy but he really is pushing it to the limmits in terms of bodyweight and training . Not everyone is Z and not everyony can compete more than 10 years top level and imrpoving . This is somethin what most people forget when they asume someone achieved massive results when being young ... like Thor , Eddie , Shaw . | ||
