Anyone do these for GPP/Conditioning or some form of active recovery? also anyone recommend a good weighted vest?

The easiest thing to do is wear 2 backpacks back and front with a weight plate in.

I think Oxman used to walk around his block many times carrying a 100kg loaded barbell, he did mention getting a few strange looks however...

Dan John recommends weighted carries as a staple of training as important as any of the big lifts, so he has loads of programming options which include them.

This guy carried a 320lb barbell 4 miles up a hill weighing 157lb

Oxman is certified insane. He used to walk around his block with chains around his neck if memory serves. What a legend!

You're not really referring to weighted carries in the farmers walk sense are you RyanH? It's more the longer distance weighted vest thing, which is something Wendler goes on about these days. Suspect the temptation is too great a load.
