Eating is fun, being strong is fun, being a skinny healthy vegan is boring. Calorie surplus yes, gettin fat no, eatin just the right amount over maintenance over periods of time will gain solid muscle and strength. Just eating anyything and everything will make you fat and is pointless. Not getting fat doesn't make someone a skinny healthy vegan lol Edit - also from experience just 'eating' and getting fat certainly isn't fun, it's the worst feeling in the world haha, sluggish hot and fat is a hideous mixture. Especially when Iv been maintaining a relatively lean 88kg on 3600 calories, 220 protein, 450 carbs and 90 fats a day. Which when I could gain muscle gradually on 4-4200 a day and over 500 carbs a day. That's more than enough food for the vast majority of people And no fat is gained

Unit is simply quoting Dom mazzetti and thinks he has me fooled but I am always 1 step ahead. Assuming your natural (if your not I'm not the person to give advice) aim to gain 1kg a month. Start at 200 or so cals above maintenance (assuming you know your actual maintenance n havnt just used some Internet formula) and assess weight gain over time, if your not gaining up it more, if your gaining too fast drop it etc, use the mirror as a guide to make sure your staying lean and that's basically it, just monitor things and adjust intake as you need to
