Looks like the UKs qualifier, so one for the diaries of Shawn & Big Mick:-
The sportspn classic will be held in conjunction with the official England's Strongest Man competition on Sunday 24th May 2009 at the Doncaster Dome.The top 2 athletes from this event will gain automatic qualification to the UK Strongest man competition later in the year.Colin Bryce who presents the show for Channel 5 television will be the MC for the Strongman event at the show.

I live in doncaster n av booked t go n watch, know nothing about it really uva than theres a bodybuilding show on n sum sort of demonstration in the gym aswell as englands strongest man. Doubt there will b any real big names there tho. R u goin?

If its Englands Strongest Man and a qualifier for the UK's then there should be some beasts there for sure.
Sounds like the same event that used to be held in Stoke that me, Rob and Joni went too, great day out.

yea its tickets m8 but when i bought mine not many ad been sold so u might b able t get tickets on the day. shud b a gud day tho

just heard that the same day as englands strongest man theres a squatting, deadlifting, and bench press competition at the same place.

This competition is nothing to do with Elite strongman promotion and is not a qualifier for UK strongest man 09. I belive this event is run by Colin Bryce and is invite only.We at Elite wish Colin all the best for this competition.
Elite strongman promotions UKSC England's ultimate strongest man 2009 final, Venue & date to be confirmed.
There are three qualifiers for the UKSC England's
Midlands, venue TBC, Mon 4 May
North, Allendale, Sat 30 May
South, venue & date TBC
