The arm over arm will be a big pallet with a tyre on it,

The events are more or less the same as 2010.....

The Ukrainians train on the same kit all year round (woody tells me this anyway)

Regardless I think they are not a bad set of events hopefully a Brit comes out in top here

Good luck ben

#6 is the 2x champ. very well rounded athlete. and yes, they train on every single piece of equipment. kind of Bulls**t but whatever. it will be an honor and a dream to even go. Im still waiting on the plan tickets. they are not willing to cover the whole trip so if i want to go i need to put up some cash.

very curious as to how you got a competitor list???

I think that you mix up Vitaly Gerasimov this guy, Vitaly is a 2*champion but does not compete there now...

I have been in u105 worlds in 2010 and 2012, most of names are strange now to be honest

Hey Sean,

I will need to part fund my flights from the UK, so I presume its the same for everyone (although it may well cost you considerably more from the US).

Colin Bryce (who will be reffing the comp) copied me in on an email with the competitor list.

The squat is likely to be on a frame. They did an scl company with the same equipment. You have to place your feet really far forward so it becomes more of a leg press. Ilin pumped out nearly 20 reps as a result.

and "depth" requires about 3" downward movement

Ben, when Woods did it 3-4 years ago, there was the same DB, car squat and arm-arm at least

It was on Eurosport so no doubt is on youtube with some educated searching

EDIT: Here you go mate. Part 2 (with the squat set up on I think?) will be on there somehwere (if you go to 7mins you can see the arm-arm setup):

Its going to cost some money for sure. but i still think its worth it.

They traveling time on the other hand SUCKS! i was apart of Team USA when we went over there in 2011. took 15 hours+ to get there...

I have not 100% facts, but i assume that he has retired from competitive scene, i saw a picture of him last year from a comp in which he was a judge and he look a like thin (90-95kg) compared hes normal weigh 110-115kg...but i'm not sure
