Nothing left in the tank. Member 5, 25597 posts Administrator | i loved the second vid, obviously im uneducated in the oly styles but i think that jerk where you dont split your legs is a accepted variant. and it looks crackers, strong fella

Does f*ck all for SugdenBarbell.co.uk Member 1, 7174 posts SQ 182.5, BP 110, DL 205497.5 kgs @ 107kgs UnEq Administrator | Very interesting C&J style, well done to the guy to having the balls to do it different! I'm sure most coaches would have told him to stop doing that first time they saw it. Amazing core and leg strength to be able to hold it and stand up like that. Little bit surprised the American C&J record isn't even 200kg though!

Scotbasher - forever Member 59, 2115 posts | There are details of the "odd lifts" on the Yorkshire and northeast website http://www.weights.demon.co.uk/yne/index.htm follow the intro link then all round odd lifting link, details of each lift are listed. You can make an odd lift attempt at BWLA comps if there are qualified refs there so im told.

True, but I think he's doing it as a training exercise Yep, and if you ask Alan later he'll tell you what they all are (It's surprising how many of them there are) Been a long time since I've seen any results from BWLA's lift of the quarter but as Bryn says I'm sure they're just lurking. May be more of a problem getting a ref to know how to judge them than get a lifter to do them
