Member 4585, 445 posts SQ 200, BP 130, DL 250580.0 kgs @ 103kgs UnEq | Good session tonight, my final rep of the squats is probably one of the lifts im most proud of, I had failed pretty much the bar had stopped dead for what felt like an eternity and just as stewart and james came running over to help as if from know where I mustered the strength to lift it. Im very proud as really I had no right saving it from that position. anyway on to the lifting, 1) squats wu to 160x3 Ws 167.5x3 misload should have been 177.5, then 182.5x3, then I went for it to make up for misload and did 182.5 x 5!!! 2) deadlifts wu to 150x3 Ws 190, 220, 240 x 2 | ||

I cut the benching short due to pain but got the main work done. Just got to keep the elbows healthy for the All England to set a decent bench. 1) NGO - 25 reps 2) Bench W/U to 70x5 W/S (Paused) 90, 110, 125 x 3, 3x1 @ 140 3) Bicep Curls 4x10 @ 30 4) Cable Rows 3x15 @ 50 | ||

Member 4585, 445 posts SQ 200, BP 130, DL 250580.0 kgs @ 103kgs UnEq | Training has been a little sparse this past week as I have been relocating my training equipment to Yaxley from Kettering, however were now all up and running so should be back on 4x per week, rather than a dismal 2x! Anyway, didnt push the bench to hard, followed the advice of James and cut the weight a little after the heavey stuff for rep work, he is advising personal trainers these days so must know what he is on about....... 1) Wide pull ups (rafters in the garage are a bit low so other pull ups are out) - 25 to warm up my lats 2) Bench W/U to 70x5 Paused - 90, 105, 115, 127.5 x 3 (fairly happy with these slight bum lift on 3rd rep but to be expected when on edge), then just the 1 single at 142.5 - final week before a reset so this was expected to be on the limit. Next session is the final climb towards the All England for the bench! Then finished off with 3x8 @ 90 paused just to add in rep work, felt good to be fair, seemed to ease my joint issues. 3) Cable Rows 5x10 @ 60 Reasonable session overall, bench could be better, but first time back in a week so not to bad. | ||

I managed to get the planned reps, however I was falling forward a lot probably due to tiredness, but I imagine they would have been about parralell so not end of the world but not where they should be. Moving jobs, house etc is really starting to take its toll. Anyway, 1) Squats W/U to 160x3 W/S 187.5, 192.5, 187.5 x 3 2) Overhead Press (LOTM - deadlifting was out so I thought I would set a LOTM attempt) 20,40,60 x 5 81 x 1 101 x 1 111 x 1 116 x F (Couldnt get it back over my head, but 111 is currently 1st place, and should be good enough for second once big James decides to set another). | ||
