Hi mate. Paused squats with that weight is always gonna be tough. You must be taking inspiration from all my paused squats with 90kg Wink

On another note, you posted the Temple's comp in the wrong section. Needs to go in http://www.sugdenbarbell.co.uk/forum/Competitions for people to notice it. I tried putting it in there myself but it's far too long and most of it gets chopped off e.g. see your attempt:

been doing beltless paused squats for months now =], has just been the past 7 weeks where its been an extreme focus.

the temple comp is what it is, from what i've seen there hasn't been all that much interest generated from posting it up on sugden so i'll leave it how it is for now. i would do a shorter description but its the only comp up on here atm which is in london so if someone is genuinely interested in taking part they'll copy and paste to have a look

partial DL - 120kg 2x8 (hands fried)
hip abductor - pyramid to max 15 (5 sets) dropped to 18kg 1x40

Plan on target (4-125 1rm, 5-129 1rm) will stick with standard increase

still rep pbs till the end of the next training cycle at the earliest. previous 1rm high bar was 180, predicted which i think i could've got was about 185. just got low bar paused squat and flat bench to go this week and i can start again... but after the strong man s**t today i doubt it'll happen.

squat - 140x5, 140x2, 160x1, 180x1 - got up at 4:30am as i had to be @ the temple for 7, these squats were done by 6am...

PM

SLDL - to 240 (pb) - really quite easy, 160 2x5
partial deadlift - 60kg 2x20
hip abductor - 3x15, one hold for time ~1minutes

3/7 weeks from now I think. It'll depend on how its going. From previous experience it'll just happen one day at the gym.
