Matspence | Power briefs | 28-05-2011 @ 11:41
Member 1391, 693 posts | Right iv got my next strongman comp in a few months and I'm wondering what briefs I should get for my strongman events, does it matter which ones I get, are they all pretty much the same design etc etc, I don't own any powerlifting suits etc and I know that briefs are a good buy, the cheaper the better pref round the £150-180 mark would be great, Thanks for your help Mat

Why not just not get fat in the first place? Member 132, 1406 posts SQ 331, BP 200, DL 320851.0 kgs @ 98kgs UnEq | It does matter which you get - it depends what you want from them and what you're using them for. Something like a pair of Titan single ply narrow stance breifs are good for a little help squatting and also conventional deadlifting, and don't cost a great deal. Metals gear is good but I've never spent any time in their briefs or squat suits so cant comment. I'd be careful getting multi ply briefs that are tight - you may not be able to get a decent position to start a deadlift but they will help you squat more.
