I don't know exactly how or why I ended up scrolling through this site at midnight for the first time in three years, but it's motivated me to start posting again, and at the very least to keep a journal of my training.

Starting tomorrow.

Inconsistently mostly!

Since competing in strongman at the age of 16/17 in the u90kg division I've regressed massively strength wise, I've rarely trained seriously for a period longer than a few weeks. I've still gone to the gym regularly, but only to stop myself becoming a complete mess.

I squatted heavy for the first time in around six months this week, and managed 120kg comfortably, I've also recently deadlifted 160kg easily.

A sorry state of affairs.

Mostly Bodyweight Movements

Did a few muscle up singles to warm up

Chins on scaffolding rig
Bw x 12
Bw x 12
Bw x 12

Press Ups
30, 30, 20

Flying Pull Ups
Bw x 3
Bw x 3

Sit Ups
Bw x 35
W/ 15kg sandbag x 15
W/ 15kg sandbag overhead x 10

Bench
50kg x 5
60kg x 5
70kg x 5
70kg x 5

Now I'm off swimming with my girlfriend who I currently train with, tomorrow I'll deadlift and actually do something worth reading.

Cheers mate, I'm currently in the application to the RAF so I'm trying to integrate some movements I believe will be beneficial into my training alongside the usual (well not of late) heavy lifting
