Would be chuffed with 260-270 and think its a realistic goal after a few more weeks.

Military Press
Bar x loads
40kgs x 5
50kgs x 5
60kgs x 1
70kgs x 1
80kgs x 1 PB

Bench
60kgs x 5
60kgs x 5
80kgs x 5
100kgs x 3
110kgs x 3
120kgs x 2 (failed the 3rd)
100kgs x 3
100kgs x 3
100kgs x 3

Tricep Pushdowns
Cant really remember the weights on these. Did quite a few sets with differet weights ranging from 25ish to the stack.

Pullups
Bodyweight x 10
BW + 16kgs x 5
BW + 16kgs x 5
BW + 16kgs x 5

Machine Row
80kgs x 10
80kgs x 10
80kgs x 10

Today was quite a good one. Wanted to get a PB on the military press and there was someone using the bench so did that first today. Then hoped to get 120kgs for 3 reps on bench but it wasnt there today. Havent done any specific tricep work in a while so just did some pushdowns. Pleased with how things went today and really enjoying bench at the minute.

Went to the palace today and thought id have a go with knee wraps that ive had for a while but only ever used once.

Squats
Bar x loads
50kgs x 8
70kgs x 5
100kgs x 5
120kgs x 3 (belt on)
140kgs x 3
160kgs x 1 (wraps on - bit high i was told)
180kgs x 1 (told again was high but better)
200kgs x 1 - PB (depth was good and was an easy rep - more to come)
120kgs x 3
120kgs x 5
120kgs x 3

The 200kgs was this most weight ive ever squatted and felt easy enough so im sure i could do a bit more. Think ive tweaked my calf a little from the wraps but very please with how today went.

Definately a very strong rep on the 200, plenty more there in the wraps!

hi neil, nice lifting lately especially the deficits. had a go at them the other day, ended up not being to get down properly with the belt on(too tight maybe? couldnt get legs into it) and have loads of bruises so just ditched it lol, do you have it the same tightness as normal deads? maybe my huge gut is a problem too lol
keep up the good work Happy

Cheers Nick. Yeh i did notice the belt dug in a bit when doing them after a few weeks of beltless deficits. My belts only a 10mm and its quite flexible so not sure if thats why it doesnt cause me too many problems but i have the belt as tight as i normally do and just make sure i set the buckle in the right place and am fine with them. With thicker stiffer belts it might be different. Im just guessing but you could mibi try approaching the bar in the same way you would in a suit ie straight legs and bent over to get your hands on the bar and then see if you can get into position from there without too much pain. I did them beltless aswell for the first few weeks of the cycle so you could always try that. Hope that helps Confused

thanks. il try maybe putting it out one or 2 holes coz i think i had on my squating setting(too tight for deads), might just stick with them beltless for a while like u did then try man up and deal with the pain from the belt lol.

Haha yeh im not a fan of pain while lifting either. Knee wraps are as far down the equipment ladder i think ill go due to the pain haha. Good luck with the deficits. You not thought about starting a log?

Brought the bands in for some fun again today.

Close grip Bench
40kgs x 6
60kgs x 5
60kgs x 5
80kgs x 3
100kgs x 5

Bench with Doubled Blue Bands
Bar x a few (this was really difficult to control)
40kgs x 5
60kgs x 2
70kgs x 1

Front raises, Rear delt flys, Rotator Cuff Raises?? and Shoulder Dislocations with mini band
Sets of 15 on each excercise in one big set for 3 sets

Was quite happy with the benching today but what i think was my bicep tendons were hurting a little. So didnt do any real assistance stuff afterwards. After deadlifts this week im gonna have a week off over christmas which ill call my deload. Got some videos from today so will attempt to put them up later.

Got a 20kg kettlebell as part of my christmas so thought id have a go.

20kg KB Swings
5sets x Right arm x 10
5sets x Left arm x 10

20kg KB Snatches
5sets x Right arm x 5
5sets x Left arm x 5

20kg KB Get ups
3 x Right arm
3 x Left arm

First time using a kettle bell but quite enjoyed it. Gets the lungs going when swinging for any significant time. Did the sets of swings one after the other and was messing about mainly so this was roughly what i did. The snatches need a bit of work but were getting gradually better as i went on. At the start i kept smashing it into my forearms on the catch. Video'd some snatches and swings to have a look at techinque. Any comments/advice welcomed as im a noob at this stuff.
