Cheers. Really feel like they work for me. Hoping for a 230kg triple off a deficit but we'll see how the 220kgs goes this week haha.

Squats - beltless
Bar x loads
40kgs x 8
40kgs x 8
60kgs x 5
80kgs x 5
100kgs x 5
120kgs x 3
140kgs x 3
160kgs x 3 - Beltless PB
120kgs x 3
120kgs x 3
120kgs x 3

After the squats i messed about doing some powercleans and stiff legged deadlifts but nothing worth noting. Pleased with the 160kgs and sure there was more there. Ill maybe move it up to 170kgs and see how many reps i can get with that. Also contemplating putting in some cardio and eating a little better since almost none of my trousers fit anymore haha. Shame with all the recent pbs

Was a bit fresher for this session than normal as i hadnt been in to bench the second half of the week because of revision and the gym closing early.

Deficit Deadlifts (25kg and 10kgs plate)

120kgs x 5
170kgs x 3
200kgs x 2 (Belt on)

220kgs x 3

Stiff Leg Deadlifts
120kgs x 8
120kgs x 8
120kgs x 8

Shrugs
120kgs x 15
120kgs x 15

Pullups
BW x 5
BW x 5
BW x 5
BW x 5
BW x 5

Very pleased with the 220kgs sets. Felt just as easy as the 210kgs sets last week and am very confident ill get 230kgs next week for a triple. Really looking forward to seeing the carryover to my deadlift from the floor. Expecting something big when i go for a single. Ill post either the first set or all of them in a a bit if i can work it out.

The videos are still a work in progress haha. Today ended up going to the gym in my jeans and walking boots as i wasnt sure when the gym was closing because of the weather. So not ideal circumstances but still happy with what i did.

Bench
Bar x loads
40kgs x 10
60kgs x 5
80kgs x 5
100kgs x 5
110kgs x 5
90kgs x 8
90kgs x 8
90kgs x 8

Military Press
40kgs x a few
50kgs x 5
50kgs x 5
50kgs x 5
50kgs x 5
50kgs x 5
50kgs x 5
50kgs x 5
50kgs x 5
50kgs x 5
50kgs x 5

Did a few pullups and some very light machine rows but the back was still a little fatigued fromd deadlifts. I also did a couple of sets of shoulder work with high reps and low weights. Hopefully i can get in tommorow for some squats.

Heres the videos from saturdays deadlifting. Finally managed to get them uploaded.

Set 1 - Headphones almost fell off which was a little distracting

Set 2 - The bar jumped a little so had to mess about resetting it

Set 3 - Fancied doing a little hold at the end

Bit of a nightmare trying to get somewhere to squat today. First went to the uni gym to find it closed. Then went out to ibrox to find the palace of arts closed. Then got a lift with brian to a fitness first where i had to feighn interest in joining to get a free session. Not a bad one in the end but a fair bit of hassle getting things done.

Squats
Bar x loads
60kgs x 10
60kgs x 10
80kgs x 8
100kgs x 5
120kgs x 5 (put belt on for this set but took it off for the rest of the sets)
140kgs x 3
140kgs x 5
140kgs x 5

Called it a day there. Would normally have done another set or two but the gym was too cold and didnt want to overdo it before deadlifting on friday.

Cheers. Really enjoying the deficits. Saw you were giving them a go in your training log aswell. How you finding them? Yeh would have been nice just to get to the normal gym but just glad to get some squats in.

Today i was meant to be doing deadlifts but threw in some bench at the end since i missed yesterdays session due to the snow.

Deficit Deadlifts(25kg+10kg plates)
70kgs x 10
120kgs x 5
170kgs x 3
200kgs x 2
230kgs x 3 - Rep PB from both deficit and floor

Close grip Bench
Bar x loads
40kgs x 10
60kgs x 5
80kgs x 5
100kgs x 1
110kgs x 1
80kgs x 5
80kgs x 5
80kgs x 5
80kgs x 5
80kgs x 5

Pullups
BW x 5
BW x 5
BW x 5
BW x 5
BW x 5

Got a video of the top set of 230kgs. Felt hard but was by no means the limit on these. I think next week ill just work up to a single at 240kgs of the deficit and possibly the week after go for 250kg. Also measured the deficit today and found it was just about 4 inches. I also supersetted the pullups with bench to get things done quicker.

Solid again man! Knew it be no probs after your previous weeks vid was so easy, good stuff.
Yeah im trying em too, bit more of a struggle than your making it look but creeping up so i stick with em till i can do no more then prob start some sort o routine from the floor and see if there any carryover.
Think your gonna see a nice big floor PB!Tongue

Here's the video from saturdays deadlifting. Only did the one set this week with 230kgs. Was a lot tougher on the hands with the different bar and ended up tearing a callus. Need to toughen them up i think haha

Yeh i can see myself hitting a big PB from the floor when i go for a single. Hopefully that'll be the case anyway haha. Considering going for a single off a deficit but might just start pulling from the floor again and build up to a new max single over the next few weeks.
