Got back home at 5 today so grabbed a mars bar and some lucozade and went to the gym. Missed a lot of squat and deadlift training and only really dumbell benched in the past 3 weeks.

In and out in an hour. Decent session although things were feeling a bit slower than they should be. Dont really know why i did 8 reps on deadlifts. Probably the most reps ive ever done. Did some light good mornings and then some dumbell shrugs to work my grip more than anything. Going to go in and do some upper body tommorow.

Also weighed 98kgs when i was at the gym Confused

Was in and out in just over an hour again. Please with the strict press PB. Good to see some improvement. Bench didnt have a spotter so kept things light and comfortable. By the time i was doing dips i was feeling pretty weak as i hadnt eaten much for breakfast so just got things finished as quickly as i could to get home and get some food. Squats on monday.

First day at work today as a pre reg pharmacist today which means i stand in much the same place from 9-5. Legs were stiff and tired and think that might have something to do with my poor squatting.

Called it a day after cleans. Was knackered by this point. Squats felt wayy harder than they should have but i guess they should after today. Did some power cleans afterwards for a bit of a change. Trying to use decent form so over the next while i might try adding in more of a dip.

Bit of a poor session again. Dont know why but my strength seemed to drop right off on bench. 120kgs for 2 paused is alright but should be better. Push press tonight was mainly for technique practice and try to get more out of my legs. Deadlifting on friday.

Cheers wylie! Wasnt an awful session on reflection but was a little surprised at how quickly my strength dropped off.

Wanted a good session tonight on deadlifts and wanted to better last weeks performance.

Finished there. Was happy with deadlifts tonight and felt wayy stronger than last week. Could maybe have gotten a couple more if id really pushed things. Managed to get my belt a notch tighter as well tonight which might have had something to do with helping things as last week it felt very loose.

Did upper back work tonight to allow me to have time tommorow to be a fag and do more bis and tris Cool Only thing i used straps for was the dumbell rows as my grip had already been worked enough. Think its getting a bit better.

Cheers Weige. Im pretty certain i can pull 280kgs at the moment but just need to hold onto the thing. I was a ball hair from doing 275kgs at the last comp and it was my grip that made me soften my legs and fail the lift. Hopefully it wont be a problem for my next comp though and i can pull something big.

Ran out of time here. Was frustrated at the 90kgs as it was ridiculously close to going up. For some reason though my right arm didnt want to press as much as the right. Didnt get quite as much done as id wanted but still had a good session. Wanted to see what my technique was like so got a video. Might start doing it more often on other lifts aswell.

Lifting is looking good. And your clean tech looks quite good aswell. Maybe you should just change to oly lifting :P

Cheers buddy! Its not awful but its not great. Ill maybe try and do some proper cleans some day.

That first 90kg press really was close! Awesome strength.
Which facility was the video filmed in?

Also, the sessions look to be going well just now. Good luck with your grip training. It's a lot of weight to hold!

Cheers Weige! Watching the video just makes me cringe at how close it was. The videos from burns gym down in dumfries. Good place with pretty much every peice of kit youd want. The grips improving slowly but surely so just need to keep plugging away.

Called it a day there. Couldnt really be bothered with the gym tonight. My wrist was bothering me a little from the other day so didnt do too much. Bit annoyed i missed 130kgs. Should be a weight i can do any day of the week. I have changed my grip from what i was doing for the last comp so im maybe not quite as strong with this. Who knows. Ill stick with it for the next while anyway.
