Tell us how your titties feel tomorrow. Where you feel the pain etc. if you DO feel the pain on the insulina and crisps etc.

Stick with it Carl it'll come good,id say if you are going to compete at some point that id start pausing your first rep on every set just to get you used to it.

Not sure if you or anybody else has noticed, but the bar doesn't come straight down or down in a diagonal, it sort of moves back and forth as it comes down. Are there instability issues or an injury? Looks like me when I try to bench with bands.

Couple of factors, first I think it's . Fair to say having never benched this wide I'm simply not used to the movement especially with the scapular retraction and therefore all the additional muscled that help to stabilise still need chance to develop/catch up. Also I do have one side a bit tighter than the other due to scar tissue from a historic injury.

I think overall when you add in all the factors such as foot/hip drive, scapular retraction, elbow tuck etc I'm simply not used to it, I expect it will improve somewhat over the coming weeks

Pausing will certainly form a part of training once I become more competent Grin

No pain this morning, a tad sore but only 2/10 mostly in my lats and traps area, not used to the retraction. Shoulders a but tight also.

Going to max legal grip was the technique modification that gave me the most kgs over the years. It didn't take long either.
